IHG Hotels & Resorts Egypt has launched a groundbreaking free training platform designed exclusively for tourism and hospitality students across Egypt, setting a new benchmark in developing the country’s future talent pool.
The initiative is led by Nasser Fadly, Area Director of Human Resources – IHG Egypt & Africa, who highlighted the long-term impact of investing in the youth.
“At IHG, empowering young people with the right tools and knowledge is key to the future success of the hospitality industry—not only in Egypt, but across the region,” said Fadly. “This platform bridges the gap between academic study and real-world industry experience, offering practical, global-standard learning opportunities.”
The IHG Training Academy Platform provides:
- Free access to more than 250 hours of curated hospitality training content.
- A hybrid learning model combining theory with hands-on practice, aligned with international hotel standards.
- Collaboration with over 30 universities and institutes, including Helwan University, Fayoum, Luxor, Minya, Suez Canal, Alexandria, Beni Suef, King Salman International University, East Port Said University of Technology, Ras Sudr Institute, among other prestigious institutions.
This pioneering project underscores IHG’s commitment to nurturing local talent, strengthening employability, and supporting Egypt’s rapidly evolving tourism industry.

The launch also marked a step toward deeper collaboration between IHG and Egypt’s academic institutions, with plans to expand access and introduce certifications for successful participants in the future.
