Sheraton Cairo hotel announced last week the promotion of Marwa Mekky to the position of Assistant Director, Marketing Communications.
An AUC graduate who joined the Sheraton Cairo Hotel family back in 2015 as the brand keeper, holding the position of Brand Activation Manager at the time. Marwa started her hospitality career by joining Le Meridien Cairo Airport’s pre-opening team then was task-forced to open two Westin Hotels in Egypt. She then moved to Sheraton Cairo Hotel which became her home since then.
Marwa managed to move up the ladder by holding the position of Marketing Communications Manager in 2018 after the official re-launch of the hotel.
Besides being a great leader to her team, Marwa’s passion is all about Art, community service & unique culinary experiences.
