This appointment signals a strategic evolution in the property’s journey to become Cairo’s leading address for refined luxury and fine dining. Under Gamil’s leadership, the hotel will focus on enhancing its culinary offerings and attracting a new generation of affluent travelers seeking distinctive, high-end experiences.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Gamil brings a legacy of impactful leadership and strategic transformation. Most recently serving as Hotel Manager at Fairmont Nile City, he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and elevating the guest experience. Prior to that, he held the position of Country Director of Sales & Marketing – Egypt, where he led national commercial strategy and delivered record-breaking performance across multiple properties.
An alumnus of the American University in Cairo, Gamil holds a degree in Business Administration and professional certifications including Hospitality Business Acumen (CHBA) and an IHMP Diploma. He is also the founder of the Fairmont Academy, a platform dedicated to mentoring the next generation of hospitality leaders and fostering a culture of continuous growth.
